At Furever Etch, we take great care in photographing and presenting our products to reflect their true beauty, quality, and craftsmanship. Each listing on our website features real images of actual engraved pieces, captured under professional lighting and natural conditions to provide a faithful visual representation of what you’ll receive.
We understand how important it is for our customers to feel confident when ordering a personalized memorial or keepsake—especially when honoring a beloved pet. That’s why we strive to ensure that the images you see on our website are as accurate as possible.
However, due to several factors beyond our control, the product you receive may look slightly different in person than it appears on your screen.
Each digital screen is different, and the way colors, textures, and details appear can vary greatly depending on:
Device type (smartphone, tablet, desktop, laptop)
Screen resolution and pixel density
Display settings (brightness, contrast, color calibration)
Ambient lighting in your viewing environment
Age and condition of your device’s screen
For this reason, colors such as grays, browns, blacks, and white tones may appear slightly lighter, darker, warmer, or cooler depending on your individual display. Finishes such as matte slate or sealed wood may also reflect light differently in person.
We do not apply heavy filters or enhancements to our product photos. What you see online is a close representation—but not a digitally color-calibrated image.
We use natural slate, Baltic birch wood, black acrylic, and other raw materials in our products. These materials may have small, natural inconsistencies in:
Color tone or shading
Grain pattern or texture
Surface markings, speckles, or tiny inclusions
Edging and raw stone or wood borders
Because each piece is made to order and sourced from real materials, no two items will be identical, even within the same product category. These organic differences are part of what makes each item one-of-a-kind and are not considered defects.
In addition, lighting conditions in your home—such as warm vs. cool bulbs or natural vs. artificial light—can affect how the engraving appears when viewed in person.
We do everything possible to present our products honestly and clearly, including:
Using high-resolution, close-up photography
Avoiding image filters or unrealistic editing
Providing material descriptions in every listing
Offering previews or mock-ups upon request (when applicable)
That said, minor variations in color, texture, tone, and material finish are normal and should be expected with any handcrafted, custom product made from natural or raw materials.
By placing an order with Furever Etch, you acknowledge and accept that product appearance may vary slightly from what you see on your screen. These visual differences are not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.
If you have any concerns about color, finish, or which photo will engrave best, we encourage you to reach out before placing your order. We’re happy to help you feel confident and informed every step of the way.
